Our Wednesday group will be meeting on 26 June, 7.30pm by the boat at Gorey for a walk followed by a pizza. 

Please note there will be no New Song on Sunday 30 June at St Helier Methodist Centre to enable everyone to attend the service marking the 60th anniversary of the Biarritz Hotel at 8.00pm.  New Song returns on 20 October.

The Friendship Group will be meeting up for the last time before their summer break on Monday 1 July, 10.00am for coffee at Le Quesnes.

Great news: Jersey has successfully renewed its status as a Fairtrade Island. We are, therefore, invited to an event to celebrate this and to bid farewell and bon voyage to Revs Graeme and Elaine Halls.   Come along to Coopers, Castle Quay on Monday 8 July 4.00-6.00pm for tea, coffee, a special celebration cake and a glass of wine to toast Graeme and Elaine as they depart from Jersey. Graeme has been an active and inspiring member of the Fairtrade committee since 2012 and his wise and advice and guidance has been greatly valued.  To attend: or tel 767593.

St Helier Methodist Centre are looking for a new Church Cafe Manager.  The hours are initially 27.5 hours per week (core hours Monday to Friday 10.00am –2.30pm).  Closing date for applications is 18 July with interviews on 29 July.  Info: or   tel 877517

To comply with food safety procedures, we have now provided plastic gloves in both kitchens, which must be worn by anyone preparing or serving food.  If supplies of gloves run out, please tell Audrey.

Open the Door teams bring the Bible alive to primary school children by acting out the stories during 15 minute assemblies at different schools, at different times of the school day.  The team that goes to Mont a L'Abbe on Monday afternoons (3.00-3.15pm every other week of the school term is urgently seeking a new member.  This team also goes to Rouge Bouillon on Monday mornings (10.30 –10.45am), and an additional team member at this time would also be helpful.  Info: Georgia on 735916 or Robin Dupre on 07797 842045
