We are all invited to Eden Church on Saturday 31 August for their annual Open Door: afternoon tea, sharing memories and seeing the work the Church has been involved with as they celebrate 186 years of worship at Eden.

The Town Church is presenting a Concert of Organ Duets, Friday 6 September, 7.30pm with Malcolm Whittell and Francis Murton.  Music by Bach, Meyerbeer, Leighton and Sousa.  Free admission and retiring collection

The Friendship Group will meet up for their first get together of the church year on Monday 9 September, 10.00am at Le Quesne’s Nurseries.  We hope some of our friends from Eden will be free to come along too.

In return Knit and Natter (Eden) are meeting at Georgetown on Tuesday 24 September, 2.30pm and the invitation has been extended to our members to join them.

The 2019-2020 programme for the Jersey Methodist Women’s Luncheon Club is now completed and, to whet your appetite (excuse the pun), the dates and guest speakers are:

The Thursday Night is Music Night Concert series is now finished for 2019.   Across our 5 concerts this year the magnificent sum of £1,661 was raised in retiring collections.  Amazingly this brings the grand total since the concerts started in 2000 to a massive £50,900!  This has been a huge investment in time and energy from Rowland and his team and put Georgetown Church firmly on the map as a centre for musical excellence. 

The Powerhouse Gospel Choir, one of the UK's top performing gospel choirs, will be giving a special Gospel on Saturday 19 October at 8.00pm.  the Jersey Arts Centre.  See Audrey for more details.
